DJ Hero priced at $120

DJ Hero
Both GameStop and Amazon have both put up the DJ hero turntable bundle for the Wii, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 for $199.99. They were not in any partnership in doing this either. So we already have two separate sources with the same price. They also both had the date of shipment set to October 27th. Since both of these websites put this information up completely independently of each other, we can be pretty sure that this is the real deal.
One site is also saying that the PS2 version will be priced at the same price while the other says it will be $20 cheaper. There is no confirmation yet from Activision and there is still a lot of time for change so check back in to see what’s going on.

It will most likely be available in black and white versions.
Sony announces PS3 motion controller
Sony confirmed the rumor about the motion controller for the PS3 today at their E3 conference. It is shaped like a wand with a color changing ball on top. It works with the Playstation Eye. Sony also stated that unlike Microsoft’s Project Natal, “some experiences need buttons,”. The system is said to have sub-millimeter precision. A demonstration was made with it to draw, and with a shooter game. It is currently still in development and won’t be released until Spring of 2010.

Sony Motion Sensing Controller at E3
There are rumors going around from many sources about Sony making it’s own motion sensing controller. It can be unvieled as soon as E3 next month. The reports are that the controller will use LEDs and a small webcam to detect motion. It will be very similar to Nintendo’s WiiMote but because it will detect “different color lights and the shape and angle of each light”, it will be much more accurate. The rumors have been going around for quite a while, but lately they have been non-stop, and the discovery of this patent by Sony really set things off.

PSP Go! to be released at E3
The rumors have been going around about a PSP that will rid us of UMDs. It is now confirmed that it will be released at the upcoming E3 event.
Sources via 1UP are saying the new model will be named the PSP Go! It is being said that it will be available in an 8GB or 16GB model. About time the PSP gets internal storage! This will be used to hold onto all those games that will be available for download.
Sorry tho. There will not be another joystiq, and if the PSP Go! looks anything like the one above, then all I’ll be thinking is, what a waste of space. The controls on the slide out like in the mockup above have been confirmed.Of course, Sony is not making any comments, but that’s is probably just them getting pissed that we already figured it out.
- It will launch in September in Japan and late October or early November in the States
- The system will be unveiled at E3, which falls June 2-4 of this year
PSP 5.00 and PS3 2.50 coming soon
Workers at Sony have been working their butts off and will be releasing PSP 5.00 and PS3 2.50 firmwares. These firmwares were just announced on the Playstation Blog. The PS3 won’t really be receiving anything new. There will be High Quality mode for bluetooth headset chat on Socom, along with a few tweaks in trophy and power management. The PSP however will be receiving a Wi-Fi version of the Playstation Store. This will allow you to download games, demos, trailers, and probably a few other things like wallpapers, etc. The PSP will also get a few more features such as a “full screen keyboard option for text entry and have redesigned the background of the XMB.” Not qiute sure what those are about but we should be seeing the new firmwares very soon.

New Homepage
I recently made a startup page for ELECTRON4CS. Check it out here.Just click the image and it will take you back to the regular site. Hope you like it. I will soon be adding an effect that will change the background color every time the song mentions another color.
Music Now on ELECTRON4CS
I recently added this blog. It is Colors by Kira Willey. You may hear it from the player above. An extra feature has been added to electron4acs. If you have firefox then go ahead and install the FoxyTunes addon here. You may also get foxytunes on internet explorer here. After that is installed go check out our website again and you will see a little panel on the left side of the blog towards the bottom. If you click there you can play the same song, Colors. I will change the song every now and then. I love how simple and clean it looks. It also adds a little something to the website that says, WOW.

PSP GPS-enabled games?
John Koller, Sony’s senior marketing manager for the PSP, mentioned the possibility of GPS-enabled games coming to the PSP. Along with the very serious announcement he said that the new GPS-addon ”changes the dynamics of GPS but also changes the way developers think about games on PSP, because you can start integrating GPS into it.” He also mentioned that they were already looking at other things which include GPS-enabled games for PSP. He concluded this exciting announcement by stating that they should have a game by next year.
