DJ Hero priced at $120

DJ Hero
Both GameStop and Amazon have both put up the DJ hero turntable bundle for the Wii, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 for $199.99. They were not in any partnership in doing this either. So we already have two separate sources with the same price. They also both had the date of shipment set to October 27th. Since both of these websites put this information up completely independently of each other, we can be pretty sure that this is the real deal.
One site is also saying that the PS2 version will be priced at the same price while the other says it will be $20 cheaper. There is no confirmation yet from Activision and there is still a lot of time for change so check back in to see what’s going on.
Beatles Rock Band unveiled at E3

Sony Motion Sensing Controller at E3
There are rumors going around from many sources about Sony making it’s own motion sensing controller. It can be unvieled as soon as E3 next month. The reports are that the controller will use LEDs and a small webcam to detect motion. It will be very similar to Nintendo’s WiiMote but because it will detect “different color lights and the shape and angle of each light”, it will be much more accurate. The rumors have been going around for quite a while, but lately they have been non-stop, and the discovery of this patent by Sony really set things off.

Nintendo Points Limited to one console

The Nintendo DSi was announced early this week along with Nintendo Points. Nintendo Points are the replacement for Wii Points and can be used with the new Nintendo DSi or the Wii. However, you cannot do both. When you purchase the card, if you redeem it on your Wii then the Wii is your limit. You cannot use those points on your DSi Store until you purchase a new card and redeem with your DSi. Knid of a let down, but I guess we’ll have to wait until Nintendo comes out with another process of linking the DSi with the Wii.
Wii-Speak Unveiled

A while back Nintendo announced the Wii Speak Microphone for socializing with Animal Crossing. It wasn’t much of a success. Among all of the announcements made yesterday, was the Wii Speak Channel. The Wii Speak Channel allows you to voice chat with up to four people. There are still many questions to be answered about this new channel so just wait and see what happens.
Nintendo DSi Official

We were all expecting it and now it’s here. The Nintendo DSi was announced at Nintendo’s Fall presentation in Japan. There are many new features to he DSi. This is actually about 12% thinner. This may be because it got rid of the useless GBA slot. the displays are slightly larger also. Both are 3.25 inches. the big new features are the dual cameras. There is an external 3 megapixel camera along with another camera located on the inner hinge. there is also an SD card slot on the side. There is also internal storage but the amount of that is still unsure. Photos can be taken directly to the Wii Photo Channel on the card, another new feature. Nintendo will also be launching a DSi shop, which will sell content directly over WiFi, including a free browser app and “DS Ware” game. Wii points will now be known as Nintendo Points. Up until March 2010 all Nintendo DSi consoles sold will come with 1000 Nintendo Points. All content will be in 200/500/800 point brackets. These will come in black & white and will be priced at about ¥18,900 ($178). It will launch in November in Japan, but the rest of us will have to wait until next year, as usual. Check out the new DSi Japanese website. It may be in Japanese but I think you can come up with your own opinion just looking at a few pictures, check it out here. New Homepage
I recently made a startup page for ELECTRON4CS. Check it out here.Just click the image and it will take you back to the regular site. Hope you like it. I will soon be adding an effect that will change the background color every time the song mentions another color.
Music Now on ELECTRON4CS
I recently added this blog. It is Colors by Kira Willey. You may hear it from the player above. An extra feature has been added to electron4acs. If you have firefox then go ahead and install the FoxyTunes addon here. You may also get foxytunes on internet explorer here. After that is installed go check out our website again and you will see a little panel on the left side of the blog towards the bottom. If you click there you can play the same song, Colors. I will change the song every now and then. I love how simple and clean it looks. It also adds a little something to the website that says, WOW.

Chrono Trigger DS confirmed for North America
Recently Square Enix released a small website, under the sensor of course, for Chrono Trigger pointing to the DS. Not long after an official announcement was made regarding this long-awaited game. Square Enix made America very happy when they told us Chrono Trigger would be available by the holidays. The new and improved version of Chrono will be very promising showing to have some extra features like a new dungeon and some sort of wireless play. There will also be touch-screen support of course.
Mega Man 9 for WiiWare
Mega Man 9 will have an 8-bit art style like the original NES games. As ever the robots are on the rampage, and Dr. Wily is back; only this time, he says that the robot attacks are the fault of Mega Man’s creator, Dr. Light. And so it falls to Mega Man to prove his creator’s innocence.
The bad boys of metal musculature causing this high-tech havoc are: Magma Man, Galaxy Man, Jewel Man, Concrete Man, Hornet Man, Plug Man, Tornado Man, and Splash Woman.
They each inhabit a trap-filled lair that reflects their respective themes, leading to Mega Man traversing molten material in Magma Man’s domain, while Tornado Man’s stage features spinning magnetic platforms which allow the Blue Bomber to defy gravity. And Plug Man’s stage features certain walls that will force the Titanium Titan to square off against shadowy dopplegangers when he walks past.
And of course, when a Robot Master gets beaten, Mega Man will acquire their special weapons for his own personal arsenal, such as Galaxy Man’s Black Hole Bombs, for which he’ll have to find the next boss in line to whom it works against. Hmm, Black Hole Bomb? I bet Hornet Man might have a hard time escaping that…
Wii with DVD playback for Japan delayed
Although it’s been a long time since we’ve even thought of the DVD-ready Wii, the morning edition of Nihon Keizai Shimbun (via IGN) reports Nintendo pres. Satoru Iwata told stockholders that, given the current demand for the Wii, the company’s priority is still on that model. Iwata also said the 1seg tuner for DS in Japan will be released this month at retail (it’s currently only sold online).
The Japan-only DVD Wii was originally expected to be released in the country sometime late last year, but given the company’s general inability to keep up with Wii demand, at this point Nintendo has time to sit around like Winnie the Pooh and think about the Wii’s next hardware iteration. As long as the cash keeps flowing, what’s the rush?
