WWDC Conference
The World Wide Developers Conference starts tomorrow and there will be a lot going on. The event begins at 10AM PT. There are a lot of rumors going around about it. One thing that is positive is the revealing of OS X Snow Leopard. There will also be a new iPhone but we aren’t sure of the details. A lot of ‘leaked’ pics have been revealed, but they are mostly longshots. We cannot say for sure. The iPhone OS will also be redesigned, possibly adding the ability to record video with the upgrade on its camera it will be getting. There are also high hopes of a netbook from Apple. Just keep your fingers crossed, because it’s not looking so good. We will begin posting tomorrow, but Gizmodo will be having live updates here.
Boxee for Windows coming June 23rd
You have probably seen the Boxee aplication for Mac OS X before. There is also a good chance you signed up to test the beta for Windows but never got an invite. Well the wait is over, almost. Boxee announced it would be officially releaseing Boxee for Windows to the public on June 23rd. They will also be attempting to make profit from buyable addons for Boxee, and may be also working on paid subscriptions. If you don’t know what boxee is, it is an application that streams media to your desktop in a nice sleek app from Hulu, CBS, Youtube, and other media streaming websites. It can also stream these shows to your portable device.
Hulu releases desktop app
Hulu recently launched it’s desktop application for Windows XP and OS X allowing you to search and watch Hulu videos without thinking about opening up a browser. Hulu was recently supporting the Boxee media center but came into some conflict with its partners and dropped the support. So now Hulu has its own app.
It is compatible with a regular mouse and keyboard, a Windows Media Center control, or an Apple remote control. Hulu Desktop also allows you to link your Hulu account and view your queue, edit it, add favorites and more.
Hulu desktop is the biggest addition to its new section called Hulu Labs.

There are rumors going around about the iPhone 2. It is being said that it will be released at WWDC on July 17th with a lot of new features and upgrades. The picture shows it in a sexy matte black and the Apple logo sticks out more than ever with the nice glow that may be added. The pictures released from MacRumors seem legit. Apple Notebook Event Official for October 14th!
Apple’s “Notebook” event is no longer a rumor. At town hall in San Francisco next Tuesday, the 14th, Apple will be holding the event. It will be an invitation only event held at 10pm PST. It is very obvious new laptops will be released. The quote, “The Spotlight Turns To Notebooks” on the invitations gave that away. The macbooks are obvious but what sort of new thing will it be. Will it be something completely new? Maybe they decided to use that iMac iCurve. Yea right, but we don’t really know much yet. Hopefully the event will settle the rumors about the “Brick”. Will they take the same step they did with the new iPod Nanos and come out with MacBooks in rainbow colors? Keep checking in to see if there are any leaks revealing what will happen.
Youtube joins up with iTunes and Amazon

Youtube recently added iTunes and Amazon links from promotionla and music videos to the iTunes store and Amazon. By clicking one of the links, it will take you to the store that you picked so you can purchase the featured song. Check out an example here.
The main music label that is participating in this is EMI. Electronic Arts is also taking part by providing links related to it’s Spore game for purchase at Amazon.
Maybe this is finally Google’s solution for making profit off of youtube.
Apple iPhone 3G Online Purchasing

It can be quite difficult to wait hours in line for your iPhone 3G, with everyone wanting one. Apple has made it even easier to get your iPhone 3G today. Simply go to the Apple website and purchase one. Just fill out a couple forms and select the plan you would like with AT&T. After that you can just go to any Apple store and pick it up. Too bad you can’t have it delivered for those who don’t have an Apple store in your area, “wink wink, Apple”.
iMac iCurve Mockup

There have been many different Apple mockups, mods, etc. but this one is definitely at the top. Named as the “iMac iView” by the designer Nuno Teixeira at Yanko Design. It’s extremely unlikely but why not stare at it and pray? This design features a curved screen, becoming very popular, along with a screen on the back to let your buddies view the same thing. This would be the most amazing thing of our generation. If only Apple would pay more attention to the hundreds of other Apple designs.
