PlayStation Store Update, Official In US Too

without comments

Sony confirmed that their updated PlayStation Store would be hitting Europe this April. Now they’ve made the same news (with the same timeline) equally official for the United States market as well. We’ll crack a few brewskies to celebrate, as the 1996 website that Sony called a proper store is finally dying a horrible death to rise as a phoenix from its ashes in about 2 weeks. A firmware update will make this happen. DO NOT stick your PS3 into open flame.

Apple iPhone SDK now at Beta 4

Apple iPhone SDK now at Beta 4 - Image 1

All you third party developers beter get psyched about this. The new iPhne SDK is coming soon! There’s alot of new features including  the Xcode integrated development environment (IDE), the newly renamed iPhone simulator for the computers coupled with OpenGL ES rendering support, plus tools and samples to toy with.

We can’t quite yet tell if build 5A258f resolves issues reviewed from build 5A240d (a.k.a. Beta 3), but what we’re getting from dev streams on the Internet is that Apple is strictly enforcing code signatures (yep, farewell unsigned homebrew code) and that UIFont just got a long-called for overhaul. There has also been some hints dropped about possible background applications so that’s something else to look forward to.

Also, if you haven’t pre-activated your AT&T account and load Beta 4, you can’t activate the phone on AT&T’s network. one little downside but not a problem.

“How will it move you?” This is the slogan for the new adz taht have been released for the Nintendo Wii’s WiiFit. An excersise game directed towards young women and moms, not saying those two can’t be in the same category!, to work you out in some various ways that I’m not so sure I want to know about. Not quite the best ads but hey what are you gonna do.

WiiTop mod!!!

without comments

This is a mod that was recently made for the nintendo wii. It looks really nice and would be a fun little thing to have for traveling. There is a downside though. The wii is intended to have you up on your feet jumping around having a good time. With this if you take on a plane or pretty much most vehicles you wont have that much free room to play most games for my wii. Although I do like the look it would kinda ruin the point of the Wii.

Nintendo Wii Stepping Back A Gen???

without comments

An interview at IGN yesterday with Mike Capps, The Epic Games President, proved to say that Epic Games Nintendo Wiiwill not be creating games for the Wii due to them thinking that the Wii was a step backwards in the  gaming generation. He said,”We want to go forward, not back.”

I do disagree with this statement. Sometimes you have to step back in some ways, such as graphics, in order to improve on even better things that hasn’t been done before like complete interaction with your game through the aww inspiring motion sensors on the Wii. Post your comment on your opinion below.
